In a study by railcard.co.uk, which surveyed 1,000 parents and children aged six to 15, found kids' hope their school holidays include riding a rollercoaster, going on a day trip to a castle or hunting for Easter eggs. The research showed that the average school child would like to embark on six trips this Easter. Similarly, 53 per cent of adults expressed they would also like to go on a similar number of trips, describing days out as a fantastic way to create new memories. Touchingly, 52 per cent of children love the Easter break because they get more quality time with their families, while 82 per cent view it as an excellent opportunity to discover new parts of the country, reports.
