Schoolchild Hospitalized in Town Centre Accident

A pedestrian is in the hospital following a collision in Newtownards town center.

Details of the Incident
A schoolchild was injured in a collision with a vehicle before 6pm today. The PSNI has yet to release a statement, but the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service responded to a 999 call at 17:54 on Tuesday regarding a traffic incident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. The NIAS dispatched emergency personnel to the scene, with one patient subsequently transported to Ulster Hospital, Dundonald for further treatment.
