Man Charged with Drug Offences in Connection with New IRA Investigation

Police investigating ‘criminality linked to the New IRA’ have charged a man with a number of drugs offences.

Charges Filed
In a brief statement sent out on Tuesday evening, the PSNI revealed that the 20-year-old man is due in court at the end of the month. The charges include possession of a Class B controlled drug, possession of a Class controlled drug with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug, and transferring criminal property.

Legal Proceedings
The man is set to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on 29th April, 2025. The Police Service highlighted that all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service. Stay updated with the latest news by visiting our platform.
