Met Office Issues Rain Alert for Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland has been basking in heat and sunshine for the last week, but as we all sadly knew, it wasn't to last.
Met Office Alert
The Met Office has issued a weather warning for Northern Ireland set to take effect on Wednesday, April 16. The yellow warning is for persistent and heavy rain, with potential disruptions to travel and local flooding expected. Residents are advised to be cautious as rain is forecasted to develop early Wednesday and last throughout the day. The warning indicates that most areas will receive 20-30 mm of rain, with specific high ground areas possibly seeing 50-60 mm. Rain is expected to ease in the evening from the west.
Record temperatures were observed in Castlederg, Co Tyrone, last week, reaching 21C. Weatherman Barra Best noted it was the earliest 21C recorded in 13 years, with the previous occurrence in March 2012.
