Michelle O'Neill's Attendance at Pope Francis' Funeral

First Minister Michelle O'Neill will attend the funeral of Pope Francis in Rome this weekend. It had been reported earlier on Thursday that the Sinn Fein Vice President was cutting short a family holiday in the hopes of attending the funeral on Saturday. It has now been confirmed in a statement from her party that she will be in attendance and will join dignitaries from around the world in Rome to pay her respects to the much-loved and respected Pope.
