Police Appeal for Witnesses After Man Stabbed Inside Co Armagh Village Pub

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a man was stabbed inside licensed premises in a Co Armagh village over the weekend.
Details of the Incident
At around 9.20pm on Sunday, March 30, police received a report of a stabbing inside licensed premises in the Concession Road area of Crossmaglen. The man, aged in his 40s, suffered "deep lacerations to his hand" and "a number of more superficial wounds to his head and neck." He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Arrest and Investigation
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences shortly after the incident and remains in custody at this time. Detective Sergeant Dougherty urged witnesses to come forward and assist with the investigation.

Detective Sergeant Dougherty stated, "We received a report that a man had been stabbed at around 9.20pm inside licensed premises in the Concession Road area. We know a number of people were present at the time of this shocking attack, and several of them bravely restrained the perpetrator. We would appeal to them to come forward to police to assist with our investigation."
