Captain Birds Eye's 'Home' Competition
A lighthouse, transformed into the 'home' of Captain Birds Eye complete with a freezer full of fish fingers, is up for grabs in a new competition.
Unique Coastal Retreat
The brand's latest competition offers people the opportunity to stay at this lighthouse, located just a few miles down the coast from its Lowestoft fish finger factory.
A Glimpse Inside
In a recent video, Captain Birds Eye gives viewers a tour of his home, providing a glimpse into what competition winners could expect. This famous fisherman's 'house' is a 69 feet high structure situated off the Norfolk coast, adorned with personal items that depict his life at sea.
Nautical Charm
Surrounded by a collection of maritime books, the lookout tower offers an unobstructed view of the horizon. The bedroom, with navy suits and signature hats, paints a picture of his naval life. To further entice potential winners, he unveils a freezer brimming with frozen treats.
Living the Adventure
Since his debut in 1967, Captain Birds Eye has become a familiar icon, recognized for his naval uniform, twinkling eye, and passion for the sea. The lighthouse was constructed 185 years ago and ceased being a working light house in the 1920s, boasting seven rooms, two of which are bedrooms – with the competition prize being a six-night stay for up to six people.
