A man who passed away while climbing Donegal's highest mountain at the weekend has been named locally.

Carl Henderson's Tragic Ascent
The climber, Carl Henderson from Co Armagh, aged 48, was hiking with friends up Errigal Mountain on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, he became unwell and collapsed, prompting a swift response from local emergency services. The Rescue 118 helicopter airlifted Mr Henderson to Letterkenny University Hospital, where he later succumbed to his condition. A post-mortem examination is set to be conducted in collaboration with the coroner's office.
