Dramatic Transformation

Actor Will Haigh made his Corrie debut in 2000 as Glen Middleham. During his time on the show, he famously dated Sarah Platt, following the birth of her daughter Bethany in June 2000 when she was just 13. Fans will remember the shock teen pregnancy storyline that caused quite a stir nationwide due to its controversial nature. However, while dating Glen, rumours about their relationship began circulating around school, leading Sarah to end things with Glen. He subsequently left the cobbles in 2001.

After his time on Coronation Street, Will took up roles in shows such as Holby City and The Peter Kay Thing. However, at the age of 17, he decided to leave acting behind and embarked on a new career path as a mine warfare specialist in the Royal Navy.

During his tenure in the military, Will served two years with the Marines in locations including Africa and Saudi Arabia. He later transitioned to the photographic branch, where he has since received numerous accolades for his work.

These days, the former soap actor is almost unrecognisable, sporting a sleek brunette hairstyle. Will has traded in his silver chain and jerseys for more sophisticated shirts.
