Get Ready for the Thrilling 2025 Belfast Marathon Route!

The Moy Park Belfast City Marathon is back for another year with a slightly new route. As thousands of participants and spectators are expected to expand across the city on Sunday, May 4. Whether you walk, jog or run or are supporting, Belfast will be buzzing as the 43nd annual marathon gets underway this Bank Holiday weekend.
Exploring the Route
The 26.2 miles of the Moy Park Belfast City Marathon 2025 route will take in the four areas of Belfast: North, South, East, and West. It all kicks off at 9am, taking off from the Stormont Estate in East Belfast, before ending at Ormeau Park in South Belfast. The route will then pass through the Castlereagh and Woodstock Roads in East Belfast before heading to South Belfast via Ormeau Road. From there, the route continues into the city centre, before heading up to Donegall Road, Boucher Road, and Lisburn Road, then passing into West Belfast. The route continues through the Falls Road as it heads into North Belfast, where runners will pass through the Waterworks and Duncairn Gardens, back down to the city centre, along the Lagan Towpath, before finishing in Ormeau Park.
